Using this feature, developers will be able to make socket connections using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols. In this release we've introduced Secure socket support for AIR iOS applications. It should be noted that when multiple APKs are live on Play store, any device receives the latest version with which it is compatible. Please read this article to know how to upload multiple APKs on Google Play store. If a developer wants their application to support OS versions less than 4.0 they will need to maintain multiple APKs live on Google Play store. For devices below Android OS 4.0, the AIR 19 shared runtime will continue to be made available on the Google Play store. Going forward, applications built using the latest AIR SDK will only support Android OS 4.0 or greater. With AIR 20, Android SDK (API Level 21) has been upgraded in the AIR Runtime, we're now using the latest Android SDK version 24.3.4. In any case, I'm just glad I finally figured out a way to install this Adobe Air $#!7.Adobe heeft versie 20 uitgebracht van Flash Player en de Integrated Runtime. I'm not too familiar with sudo dpkg commands so maybe someone else can clarify what it does exactly. If you encounter this issue and tried all the steps I've mentioned above (especially deleting the adobe-certs located in etc/opt/Adobe folder), try using this on the terminal and see if it works.Īlthough I've deleted the aforementioned folder, and removed the broken package in the synaptic manager, I guess there were still cert packages that I needed to purge which this command did. Thank you in advance.Īfter reading and reading and more reading, I finally found a solution that worked for me. Or, should I do it anyways? I'm at my wits end with this dilemma and I was hoping that someone could assist me. ![]() I found one solution from the Fedora forums that suggested that there were missing packages and to run yum (yum -y install xterm gtk2-devel gnome-keyring libxml2-devel libxslt rpm-devel nss), but I opted not to do that since I'm aware that Mint and Ubuntu does not really use the yum repository. ![]() I've also tried other solutions like closing the browser, exiting the synaptic manager before installing, removing the adobe-cert, etc/opt/Adobe and /var/opt/Adobe Air folders and a plethora of other solutions the community has suggested, but to no avail. I've tried the instructions I found in the ubuntu and mint forums i.e.: Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Each time I've run the installation, I receive the error: "An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. I'm new to the forums and Linux Mint in general, and I seem to be having problems installing Adobe Air so I can use Tweetdeck.
